SBCP Library registered almost 350 Summer Reading participants and had 2301 children, teens, and adults in attendance to in-person events over the weeks of Summer Reading. The 73 programs included performers, authors, crafts, STEAM activities, and Bookmobile. The Library would like to thank all of the children, teens, parents, grandparents, and anyone else who attended these programs! This year’s Summer Reading Program would not have been a success without your participation.

Volunteers needed! Please fill out the contact form below or email youthservices@sbcplibrary.org if you are interested in volunteering for our Halloween Bash!
The Library will be having a Halloween Bash! Starting from 1 to 4 PM Saturday October 29th! Children and their parents are free to stop by our Community Room to play carnival games for treats, along with our fall backdrop set up for parents to use if they would like to take pictures of their children in their Halloween costumes; we will provide the backdrop and seats, but patrons would need to use their own phones or cameras.

Hello Friends,
Fall is such an exciting time of year to be involved with the Friends of the Library! The Annual Author’s Luncheon is October 11, 2022, at noon at the Blue Ribbon Circle. We will enjoy a sack lunch as our featured speaker, David Hazelwood, takes you down roads he has traveled in his roles as consultant, farmer, minister, restauranteur, and innkeeper.
