Friends of the Library's Annual Author's Luncheon Guest Announced: Author Debra Webb!
The Friends of the Library Annual Author's Luncheon is back! Join our Friends of the Library on Tuesday, October 1st, for a lunch and hear an author speak about their work. This year's local guest author is Debra Webb!
We are honored to have Debra Webb as our author this year! Debra is the USA Today bestselling author of more than 175 novels, including well-loved works like the Finley O’Sullivan and the Faces of Evil series. Born in Scottsboro, Alabama, Debra developed a love of writing early, using inspiration from her life on the family farm and her grandmother’s stories. Her writing career has led to such achievements as ten million copies sold and various acclaimed literary awards.
Debra’s latest novel, ‘Deeper than the Dead’, was released in August. Set in a small town in Tennessee, this mystery stays true to her reputation for writing nail-biting thrillers. We are on the edge of our seats, not only to hear about Debra’s suspenseful new book, but also to learn about her experiences as one of the most prolific authors of our time.
Tickets will be available for $20 per seat in September. If you are interested in purchasing an individual seat or a table at the luncheon or would like more information, please call us at (931) 684-7323. All proceeds go towards the Friends of the Library's efforts to support the library and help us develop more amenities and services we can provide for the public.
